Rose Kennedy made this statement, “It has been said, ‘time heals all wounds’. I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.” Mrs. Kennedy was certainly wounded. Untimely deaths claimed her husband, three of her four sons and a mentally handicapped daughter. She knew much about time and healing. I believe she was right. Wounds never disappear. I choose to think that behind every scar there is an untold story of survival! I believe every human who walks the earth has scars.
